We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Field Service Technician for a full-time position based out of our headquarters in Independence, OH. In this role, you will perform diagnostic assessments, repairs, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment at customer locations including restaurants, hospitals, schools, stadiums, and other food service facilities.
Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, replacing or repairing faulty components, safely using specialized tools, and working directly with customers to provide high-quality service and ensure satisfaction. You will also maintain accurate service records, manage parts inventory as needed, and comply with all safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications- Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with at least 1+ year of experience working on gas, electric, and steam equipment
- Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for repair and maintenance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the service area
- CFESA certification or other relevant technical certifications are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred
