Security Alarm Technician

Job Description

A local company is offering an immediate, full-time position for a Technician install security alarms. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, you will provide after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis.

Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair alarm systems and related products
• Install security, cameras, and access control systems
• Upgrade obsolete alarm systems to modern equipment
• Accurately maintain required documentation
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Adhere to company safety policy and quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum 1-year experience working with alarm systems; CCTV, Access Control, Basic IP Networking, Bosch/DSC/Napco/Honeywell experience, as well as fire alarm experience and license is preferred
• Must be able to learn new products, techniques, and skills quickly
• Must have the ability to perform work and solve technical problems independently
• One year computer experience is preferred
• Must have effective communication and teamwork skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to work all day in various conditions and keep up with appointments as scheduled
