Logistics Coordinator; PM Shift

Overview

• Position:
  Logistics Coordinator (PM Shift) – Independence, OH
• Location:
  
  Independence, OH (on-site)
• Schedule:
  
  6pm–6am, 12-hour shifts with 8-hour OT built in every other week
• Compensation: $23.00 per hour + annual bonus

• Forecast, adjust, and maintain the delivery schedule of bulk cryogenic gases
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of bulk gases to internal and external customers; handle issues in a timely manner
• Extensive communication and coordination with production, distribution, and sales departments within Airgas
• Support the Airgas Merchant Gases safety culture and assist in safe deliveries while adhering to DOT rules and regulations
• Utilize multiple computer-based tools such as ALTO scheduling software, People Net, SCADA, PI Vision, and PowerBI

• Required:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be available to work any 12-hour shifts, including weekends
• Ability to problem-solve and quickly research solutions
• Excellent organizational skills in time management and resource allocation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• College degree with emphasis in operations management, logistics or business administration is preferred
• Two years of prior relevant experience preferred
• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry preferred
