Contingent Maintenance Technician

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Contingent Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Contingent Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Troubleshoot and perform repairs and maintenance on equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.

+ Repair production line equipment such as conveyor belts, packaging machinery, grinding equipment, and stacking systems.

+ Assist in the installation of machinery and equipment as needed.

+ Perform cutting, welding, and light steel fabrication tasks.

+ Inspect and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

** What's Needed?*
* + Prior relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to perform prolonged and repetitive motions including standing, twisting, kneeling, and reaching overhead.

+ Capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

+ Willingness to learn on the job in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to read numbers, product descriptions, and maintain accurate written records.
