Client: A reputed CBSE school
A well-established CBSE school in South West Delhi is looking to onboard a Head of Performing Arts to lead and nurture the school’s creative and cultural ecosystem. The role involves building a strong performing arts curriculum, guiding student talent, and overseeing performances and productions across the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Performing Arts department across all grades
Design and plan the annual performing arts curriculum and syllabus
Collaborate with teachers to understand student strengths and areas of development
Plan and execute school productions, showcases, and cultural programs
Prepare students for inter-school competitions and performance events
Oversee maintenance and effective utilisation of performing arts equipment
Prepare and manage the annual Performing Arts budget
Qualifications &
Experience:
Graduate or Postgraduate degree/diploma in Dance, Music, or Theatre from a reputed university/college
Minimum 15 years of experience in Performing Arts with at least 10 years of teaching experience in a school or institute
Experience in choreography, directing productions, and leading performance events
Participation in performances, concerts, or theatre at the college level
What We’re Looking For:
Strong leadership ability to inspire and guide the Performing Arts department
Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi
Proficiency in conducting classes bilingually (English and Hindi)
Conversant with multiple forms of Performing Arts with specialisation in one
Ability to design engaging curriculum and encourage student participation in productions
Comfort with using technology in performing arts education
Awareness of sound and lighting requirements for stage productions
