About this Role:
We are hiring a Political Graphic Designer to join our Communications team for the Goa region.
You will turn complex political ideas into clean, thumb-stopping campaign visuals and consistent branding. The candidate should have a strong visual sense, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and an understanding of political communication and public messaging in the Goan context.
This role requires strong graphic design, visual storytelling, and branding skills, along with the ability to manage multiple creative projects in a fast-paced campaign environment. You will work closely with content writers, video editors, social media teams, and campaign strategists to create high-quality social media creatives, infographics, digital advertisements, presentation decks, print materials, campaign branding assets, and rapid-response political communication.
This is a contract-based campaign engagement running through February 2027.
Selected candidates will initially work remotely and should be ready to relocate to the Panaji office once intimated.
C. What Would This Role Entail?
Design campaign creatives, social media posts, infographics, and digital ads.
Develop branding assets, presentations, and print materials (posters, banners, hoardings, pamphlets).
Produce rapid-response visual content during fast-moving political developments.
Convert political ideas and ground-level issues into simple, relatable visuals for the public.
Maintain visual consistency and brand guidelines across all campaign assets and platforms.
Coordinate with content writers, video editors, social media teams, and campaign managers.
Adapt designs for Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, You Tube, Whats App, and print formats.
Maintain confidentiality of campaign plans, drafts, and internal communication.
D. Necessary
Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Canva.
After Effects/motion graphics is an added advantage.
Strong sense of typography, layout, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
Experience designing for social platforms, digital campaigns, and print.
Ability to conceptualise and execute under tight deadlines.
Understanding of political communication, branding, and public messaging.
Strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools is an added advantage.
A portfolio is mandatory.
Must be based in Goa or available to work in Goa during the contract period.
Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced political environment.
Own laptop or system (capable of running design software) is preferred.
Flexible working hours during campaign events and urgent political activities.
E. Good to Have
Skills:
Prior experience in graphic design, preferably for social media, digital campaigns, or political/campaign content.
Knowledge of Konkani , Marathi, Hindi, and English is an added advantage.
Ability to set and proofread local-language ( especially Konkani ) text accurately in creatives is preferred.
