About this Role:

We are hiring a  Political Video Editor  to join our  Communications team  for the  Goa region . You will turn raw footage into compelling, fast-moving stories for political campaigns and social media. The candidate should understand the rhythm of social platforms, current editing trends, and how to produce content that captures attention, drives engagement, and supports the campaign narrative in Goa.
This role requires strong video editing, storytelling, and motion graphics skills, along with the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines. You will collaborate closely with content writers, designers, social media teams, and campaign strategists to create high-quality videos for digital campaigns, speeches, rallies, interviews, and rapid-response political communication.  This is a contract-based campaign engagement running through February 2027.  

Selected candidates will initially work remotely and should be ready to relocate to the Panaji office once intimated.

C. What Would This Role Entail?
Edit campaign videos, social reels, speech and rally highlights, interviews, and short-form political content.
Create motion graphics, lower-thirds, titles, and simple visual effects to strengthen campaign messaging.
Produce rapid-response political content within tight, time-sensitive turnarounds.
Adapt footage into formats optimised for Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, You Tube, and Whats App.
Apply platform-appropriate editing styles, pacing, captions, subtitles, and trending formats.
Coordinate with content writers, designers, social media teams, media monitoring teams, and campaign managers.
Maintain a clean, organised footage library and ensure timely delivery of all assets.
Maintain confidentiality of campaign plans, raw footage, drafts, and internal communication.

D. Necessary

Skills:

Prior experience in video editing, preferably for social media, news, or political/campaign content.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects & Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Strong grasp of social-media editing styles, pacing, and current trends.
Good sense of timing, sound, music, and storytelling for short-form content.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle urgent campaign requirements.

Experience with AI-powered editing tools is an added advantage.
A portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
Must be based in Goa or available to work in Goa during the contract period.
Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced political environment.
Own a high-end device (capable of running editing software) is preferred.
Flexible working hours during campaign events and urgent political activities.

E. Good to Have

Skills:

Experience in political campaigns, communications, consulting, media, or creative operations.
Knowledge of  Konkani , Marathi, Hindi, and English is an added advantage.
Ability to understand local-language speeches, news clips, and audio for accurate subtitling and editing is preferred.
