Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based in Jim Corbett, Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, India. The General Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience. Responsibilities include managing budgets, monitoring revenue and costs, implementing operational standards, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

The role involves leading and mentoring staff, overseeing recruitment and training, and fostering an inclusive, performance-oriented workplace. The General Manager will also handle guest feedback, coordinate with vendors, support marketing and sales initiatives, and report regularly to senior leadership on operational performance and strategic opportunities.
Qualifications
Should have handled resort which is FIT based & equally strong with Corporate & Social functions.
Must be experienced in handling large spread out resort .
Current or past experience in handling Jim Corbett market would be an added advantage.
Demonstrated experience in hotel or hospitality management, with responsibility for day-to-day operations and team leadership.
Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to manage revenue, costs, and profitability.
Ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams, with a focus on engagement, performance, and fair, respectful workplace practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests, staff, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in using hotel management systems and basic office productivity tools.
Solid understanding of hospitality standards, local regulatory requirements, and best practices in guest service and safety.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in a supervisory or general management role in hotels or resorts in urban locations is highly beneficial.
