Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Quepem, responsible for overseeing daily operations of Raha Villas and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role includes managing staff schedules and performance, coordinating housekeeping and maintenance, and supervising front-of-house services to maintain high standards of service and property presentation. The General Manager will monitor budgets, control costs, and track key operational metrics, while working closely with leadership to implement business strategies and wellness-focused programs.
Day-to-day responsibilities also include handling guest inquiries and feedback, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and fostering a culture aligned with Nurall’s philosophy of conscious, well-being-centered living. The role requires proactive problem-solving, hands-on leadership, and consistent on-site presence to support smooth operations.
Qualifications
Experience in hospitality or property management, with the ability to oversee daily operations, staff, and guest services.
Skills in budgeting, cost control, and basic financial reporting to support sustainable and efficient business performance.
Strong leadership and people management abilities, including team development, coaching, and performance management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging guests, coordinating with partners, and resolving issues effectively.
Organizational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities, schedules, and projects in a dynamic environment.
Comfort with using standard office software and digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and operational coordination.
Background or interest in wellness, conscious living, or experiential hospitality is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site in Pudcuherry, with flexibility for weekend or holiday schedules
Ability to travel between site locations and also monitor remote resort.
