Role Description  The Reservations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Puducherry, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the reservations process. This includes managing room bookings across various channels, monitoring reservation systems and ensuring accurate and timely updates to availability and rates. The role involves responding to guest inquiries, handling booking modifications and cancellations, and coordinating closely with front office to optimize occupancy and revenue.

The Reservations Manager will maintain reservation records, prepare regular reports and implement procedures that improve efficiency and guest satisfaction. The role also includes training and guiding reservations staff, ensuring adherence to standards and supporting the overall guest experience from pre-arrival to check-in.
Qualifications
Strong reservations and booking management skills, with experience using reservation or property management systems.
Excellent customer service abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction and professional, courteous interactions.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests, colleagues and external partners.
Sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to upsell room categories and packages and support revenue-generating initiatives.
Experience in training and mentoring team members to ensure consistent performance and service standards.
Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and records.
Prior experience in hospitality or hotel operations, particularly in reservations or front office, is preferred.
Comfort with basic computer applications and data entry; familiarity with online travel agencies (OTAs) is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Puducherry and collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
