Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role based in Puducherry. The Front Desk Receptionist will greet guests, manage check-in and check-out processes, and respond to inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email. Responsibilities include handling reservations, maintaining guest records, processing payments, and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations. The role also involves managing the front desk area, performing basic clerical tasks such as filing and data entry, and resolving guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
The Front Desk Receptionist is expected to uphold klite Stays’ standards of service and contribute to a welcoming and organized front office environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
Candidates should possess solid Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties skills for managing calls, inquiries, and front desk operations.
Candidates should possess Clerical Skills, including basic computer use, data entry, and record-keeping.
Candidates should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
