Role Overview

The Deputy Manager – Counseling will be responsible for leading and managing a team of counselors, ensuring effective student engagement, counseling operations, lead conversion, and achievement of admission targets. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and performance management skills to drive enrollment growth and enhance the prospective student experience.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a team of admission counselors to achieve individual and team targets.
Monitor daily counseling activities, lead follow-ups, and conversion metrics.
Ensure timely engagement with prospective students through calls, emails, and digital platforms.
Drive admissions conversion by providing accurate program information and guidance.
Analyze team performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and conversion rates.
Coordinate with admissions, marketing, and academic teams to ensure a seamless admission process.
Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews for counselors.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead management and admissions performance.
Maintain high standards of student satisfaction and service quality.
Support departmental initiatives, campaigns, and enrollment drives.

Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized university.
7–8 years of experience in counseling, admissions, sales, or student recruitment.
Proven experience in team handling and target-driven environments.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
Experience in the education sector will be preferred.
