Operations Manager – Wealth Management
Role Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Manager to oversee operational, compliance, and administrative functions within our wealth management division. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mutual fund operations, fund rebalancing, KYC processes, compliance, audits, vendor management, and RTA coordination, ensuring smooth day-to-day business functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Manage and execute portfolio/fund rebalancing activities
-Coordinate with advisors and operations teams for timely adjustments
-Monitor performance and ensure alignment with clien
2. Mutual Fund KYC & Onboarding
-Oversee MF KYC processes (new and modification cases)
-Ensure compliance with SEBI / AMFI regulations
-Handle investor onboarding and documentation verification
3. Compliance & Regulatory Management
-Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements
-Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory checks
-Coordinate with compliance teams for policy implementation
4. Audit & Risk Management
-Support internal and external audits
-Ensure readiness of documentation, reports, and records
- identify gaps and implement corrective actions
5. Vendor Management
-Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
-Negotiate contracts and monitor service quality
-Ensure timely payments and SLA compliance
6. RTA Coordination
-Work closely with Registrars & Transfer Agents (RTAs) like CAMS, KFintech
-Handle transaction processing, reconciliation, and issue resolution
-Track investor transactions and reporting
7. SOPs & Process Excellence
-Develop, implement, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
-Streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
-Ensure team adherence to defined processes
8. Administrative & Operational Support
-Oversee daily administrative operations
-Manage reporting, documentation, and internal coordination
-Support leadership with MIS reports and dashboards
Required
Skills & Experience:
Team mangement skills
5+ years of experience in wealth management / financial services
Strong knowledge of:
Mutual Fund operations
Fund rebalancing
KYC processes
Compliance & audit frameworks
Experience working with RTAs (CAMS, KFintech, etc.)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Preferred
Skills:
Knowledge of PMS/AIF operations
Familiarity with CRM tools and financial software
Strong communication and stakeholder management skill
