Sales Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead and drive revenue. The role involves managing the sales team, driving conversions, improving sales processes, and ensuring a strong student experience throughout the admission journey.

The charter for this role will include:
Own sales targets and revenue for the assigned business.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of study abroad counsellors/sales professionals.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
Analyse sales data, identify gaps, and build strategies to improve team productivity and conversions.
Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, and performance discussions with the team.
Build and implement sales processes, playbooks, and best practices to improve efficiency.
Handle escalations and support the team in closing high-value or complex student cases.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, student preferences, and changes in international education.
Ensure a high-quality student experience while maintaining strong sales outcomes.

Ideal Persona
5–8 years of experience in sales, preferably in  study abroad, international education, or a related industry .
Prior experience managing and leading a sales/counselling team.
Strong track record of achieving revenue and conversion targets.
Strong understanding of sales funnels, lead management, and performance metrics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and people-management skills.
Data-driven approach with the ability to identify problems and take quick action.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Strong customer/student orientation with a commercial mindset.
