Position: Payroll & Client Service Specialist (UKG Ready required)

Payroll & Client Service Specialist

Fully Remote; hybrid preferred if located near Lakewood Ranch or Longwood, FL.

About the Role

The UKG Ready Payroll & Client Service Specialist “CSR” is responsible for delivering high quality payroll, technical support, and training to POA clients and internal teams. This role focuses on optimizing the UKG Ready platform experience across the Payroll, HRMS, and TLM modules. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail oriented, and comfortable navigating client communication, backend system configuration, and operational processing needs.

The CSR maintains a book of key accounts using the UKG Ready platform, processes payroll data accurately and timely, conducts client trainings, assists in adding additional products as needed, and performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • High degree of technical ability within the UKG Ready platform, including the ability to train clients, troubleshoot issues, and successfully import data
  • Current FPC or CPP Designation - Preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of Payroll Service Bureau Experience - Preferred
  • College Degree Preferred
  • Expert level knowledge in Payroll, Tax, Garnishments, 401K, and Health Benefits
  • Familiarity with TLM Pay Calc 2.0
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of documented Excel skills, including functions, formulas, pivot tables, and V-lookups
  • Strong facilitation, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to gather and analyze information
  • Able to work effectively independently and in a team environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent Microsoft Office skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Display a customer service mentality and deliver outstanding client service, proactively anticipating client needs, maintaining frequent and professional client communication, and responding quickly to service requests.
  • Actively seek to grow POA business by identifying and acting on sales opportunities.
  • Maintain a book of business.
  • Coordinate client training activities within a book of business.
  • Attend client hand-off meetings with the Implementation Team.
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with POA leadership, peers, co‑workers, teammates, IOA employees, and all clients.
  • Use discretion and judgment to ensure beneficial outcomes.
  • Provide quality control over data integrity for all clients.
  • Participate regularly in internal and external training, expanding and sharing knowledge within the POA Team.
  • Act as back‑up for teammates as needed, ensuring overall team service excellence.
  • Work effectively with the entire POA team, seeking input and developing win‑win solutions to any process, service, quality, or productivity issues.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry/market expertise.
  • Comply with all company work rules, standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
  • Continuously improve professional skills by actively participating in internal and external development opportunities.
  • Demonstrate integrity and leadership, championing IOA values.

Salary Range

The expected pay range for this position is $24.00 to $34.00 per hour, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
