Maintenance Technician

Doubletree Suites by Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join a growing Maintenance department.

What you will be doing

In this position, you will be tasked with ensuring that the property is kept in optimal condition at all times, minimizing any inconvenience to our guests. You will conduct diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building mechanical systems. Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, life safety protocols, and basic computer skills is preferred. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with building security, which includes, but is not limited to, patrolling the perimeter, aiding with the fire panel, and ensuring that entrances are secured, among other duties.

Qualifications:

• Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor at all times.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit while continuously performing essential job functions throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions and be able to lift/carry 50-60 lbs..
