Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

In this position, you will be tasked with ensuring that the property is kept in optimal condition at all times, minimizing any inconvenience to our guests. You will conduct diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building mechanical systems. Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, life safety protocols, and basic computer skills is preferred. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with building security, which includes, but is not limited to, patrolling the perimeter, aiding with the fire panel, and ensuring that entrances are secured, among other duties.

• Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor at all times.
• Must be capable of effectively communicating both verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Must be adept at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Must demonstrate initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.

• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit while continuously performing essential job functions throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions and be able to lift/carry 60-70 lbs.
