Position Summary

The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Compliance & Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for maintaining LIHTC compliance across the assigned property portfolio while managing invoice processing and accounts payable functions. This is a hybrid role combining regulatory compliance oversight with day-to-day financial transaction support.

This position requires strong attention to detail, sharp organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities across two distinct functional areas — one that is highly regulated and deadline-driven, and one that is transactional and process-oriented. The ideal candidate is someone who takes personal pride in accuracy, keeps nothing off their radar, and thrives in a role where precision directly protects the business.

Uniquely accountable for:

LIHTC compliance file integrity and recertification across the tax credit portfolio, accounts payable processing accuracy and timeliness, and audit readiness across both functions.
