Overall Responsibilities
Employee shall perform a variety of office secretarial and receptionist duties relating to Public Works operations.
Essential Functions- Collect and receive utility bill payments, answer and address customer inquiries and complaints.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Office and Excel in completing various reports and schedules.
- Utilize IWORQ software for monthly reports, logs and updates for public works’ departments.
- Process invoices and bill payments, J.U.L.I.E. locates and other office related operations as needed.
High School graduate plus two years related experience in an office secretarial and receptionist position or college or technical trade school training equivalent.
SalaryStarting salary is $21.33 per hour, the probationary rate. Interested candidates shall submit a complete application form to the Public Works Department, 401 Whitney Boulevard, Belvidere, Illinois 61008.
