Sales Manager France – Home Care​/Personal Care Packaging

Our client

Our client is a global multinational in the packaging industry.

Home-office based job, anywhere in France. Hybrid work is possible as well, since there is a head office in Paris and multiple plants across France.

This is an individual contributor role, reporting into the Sales Director France, with a national scope. You will have clients and prospects across different regions in France.

In this role you will manage an existing portfolio of clients and you will have the mission to build-up a solid pipeline of prospects to develop business with. This mix between account management with existing clients and business development with prospects will be around 50/50.

Your core market is the French home care / personal care market, with a particular focus on contract manufacturing suppliers and mid and small sized brand owners.

• Develop and Execute Sales Strategies:
  Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in France.
• Look for new opportunities and areas of growth
• Client Relationship Management:
  Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Customer Engagement:
  Proactively engage with customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Budget Management:
  Oversee the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives.
• Sales Data Analysis:
  Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with other departments, such as R&D, Product Marketing and Operations (several productions sites in France plus other sites in Europe), to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
• Reporting:
  Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future plans.

We are looking for a candidate with at least a few years of experience in the home care / personal care packaging market, serving clients and developing business with prospects across France with contract manufacturers and brand owners.

The hired person will bring a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

In terms of educational background, we expect a degree or equivalent professional qualification in business administration, sales, marketing or a similar field.

• Fluent English

• The role requires frequent and regular travel across France.
