About the OpportunityWe are partnering confidentially with a well-established, values-driven General Contractor in Central Indiana that delivers high-quality commercial and mixed-use projects with a strong emphasis on community impact, craftsmanship, and long-term relationships.
This organization has a stable project pipeline, strong leadership, and a reputation for running clean, organized jobsites. They are seeking a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent to join their growing field leadership team.
Position OverviewThe Superintendent / Senior Superintendent will lead on-site construction operations from project start through closeout. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who takes pride in safety, quality, and team collaboration, and who wants to be part of a company where leadership is accessible and decisions are made locally.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day field operations on active commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, inspections, and schedules
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized jobsite; enforce OSHA standards
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to ensure accurate execution
- Drive schedule adherence and proactively identify and solve field issues
- Partner closely with Project Managers and ownership to deliver successful projects
- Oversee quality control, punch lists, and project closeout activities
- Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and field staff (Senior level)
- Superintendent: 5+ years of field leadership experience
- Senior Superintendent: 10+ years of experience managing complex commercial projects
- Strong background in ground‑up and/or large‑scale renovation projects
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and crews effectively
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with scheduling software and construction technology a plus
