NY Construction Project Manager (CUB) – Clay, NY campus
OverviewMicron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. The NY CUB leads construction projects at our Clay, NY campus, managing complex, multi‑phase site development, underground utilities, and vertical construction. You will own schedule, cost, quality, and safety from pre‑construction through commissioning, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Manage construction projects from planning through execution, including scheduling, budgeting, quality, and safety.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and contractors to align on project goals and timelines.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to meet schedule and budget targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Deliver project updates to leadership and stakeholders with transparency and accountability.
- Integrate AI solutions in construction management using BIM, digital tools, field tracking, and automation to improve efficiency.
- Monitor quality and enforce compliance with design specifications.
- Serve as primary liaison for NY CUB activities among Micron, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
- Lead coordination meetings and maintain transparent communication.
- Manage permitting and approvals with relevant authorities (AHJs) and deliverables through Micron Project Management Information System (Procore).
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, CCM, or equivalent.
- Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects, preferably in semiconductor or industrial environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the capacity to collaborate in teams, work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and make decisions with minimal mentoring.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and relevant safety laws.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Primavera P6, Procore).
- Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Broad background in facility and building management.
$ – $ a year (base salary only). Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity.
