About the Role

The Project Safety Manager supports the Project Teams by developing and sustaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC).

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Generate weekly Total Case Incident Reports for project leadership and management.
  • Lead incident and injury investigations and provide assistance during toolbox safety meetings.
  • Monitor and audit CEI/Subcontractor compliance per standards, regulations, and project safety requirements.
About You

Seasoned, OSHA 30‑certified Safety professional with extensive construction safety experience. Essential skills and attributes:

  • Strong understanding of electrical industry consensus standards (NFPA, NESC, ASTM, ANSI).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence behaviors.
  • Team player capable of working independently.
  • Passion for safety as a priority for employees, public, and environment.
What You Will Gain

Opportunity to support and evaluate safety program effectiveness, co‑facilitate safety trainings, and work directly with field personnel to address safety issues and concerns.

General Work Environment
  • Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
  • Occasional work at heights, in confined spaces, lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Work conducted in indoor office and outdoor construction sites with varying environmental conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or GED required;
    Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred.
  • Licensure/

    Certifications:

    OSHA 30 Construction required; CPR/FA Certified (Trainer Preferred); willingness to obtain BCSP CHST certification or higher within 12 months.
  • Experience:

    Three to five years of construction safety experience (electrical safety experience preferred).
  • Driving Record:
    Valid state‑issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency preferred.
  • Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.
