Trainee Quantity Surveyor

We’re looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join us here at Lincs Interiors.

The right candidate will collaborate with the wider team to financially manage projects from estimating right through to project completion. A knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Estimating would be a big plus but this is not required as full training would be given with the chance for career progression within the wider business.

• Produce accurate quotations for tenders.
• Offer cost saving options to clients.
• Carry out measures of tender and secured projects.
• Procure and order plant and materials.
• Produce monthly cost reports.
• Carry out subcontractor payments.
• Produce monthly valuations for projects.
• Price changes on live projects.
• Compile final accounts on projects.
• Building and maintain strong relationships with customers.

• Ideally educated to A-level with Excellent IT skills.
• Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word & Excel.
• Passionate and motivated to start a career in Quantity Surveying and Estimating.
• Knowledge or experience of Drylining, Drywall or Plastering.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
