I’m working with a leading General Contractor delivering large-scale data center projects across the United States.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and final handover.
This is a 100% travel / on-site role
, suited to someone who has already delivered complex data center or mission-critical construction projects and is comfortable leading fast-paced, technical builds.
You will be responsible for managing project safety, schedule, budget, quality, subcontractors and client relationships across major data center construction projects.
You will work closely with owners, design teams, commissioning agents, subcontractors and internal leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day delivery of large-scale data center construction projects
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, cost reporting and change orders
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, design teams, commissioning agents and client stakeholders
- Oversee critical infrastructure scopes including power, cooling, MEP, low voltage and commissioning
- Manage RFIs, procurement, contract administration, risk mitigation and project reporting
- Ensure safety, quality and client expectations are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Support and mentor Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers and field teams
- 10+ years of construction experience,
with strong data center exposure - Experience working for a General Contractor is required.
- Proven ability to manage projects from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, critical power, cooling and technical infrastructure
- Experience with budgets, schedules, subcontractor management, change orders and client reporting
- Comfortable using tools such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel full-time to project sites across the United States
