We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager with proven data center construction experience to join a major hyperscale project in Indiana.

My client is a mid sized general contractor successful candidate will have a strong track record managing safety on data center projects, with the ability to lead safety across a large, fast-paced construction site involving multiple trades and subcontractors.

• Lead day-to-day safety operations across the project.
• Maintain and implement the project Health & Safety Plan.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, safety observations, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Lead JHAs/JSAs, toolbox talks, pre-task planning, and safety meetings.
• Manage safety across multiple subcontractors and construction activities.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Partner closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, client, and subcontractor leadership.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
• Track safety metrics and promote a proactive, field-driven safety culture.

• 7+ years of construction safety experience.
• Previous safety management experience on data center construction projects is mandatory.
• Experience with a General Contractor, EPC, or major construction contractor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and construction safety best practices.
• Proven ability to manage safety across large projects with multiple subcontractors.
• Strong communication, leadership, and field-management skills.
• Willingness to be highly visible and hands-on in the field.

• CHST, CSP, or equivalent
• First Aid/CPR

• Up to $180,000 base salary, depending on experience
