Safety Manager – Commercial and Industrial Electrical Construction – Indiana
Gryphon Oakwood is partnering with a leading electrical contractor to identify a Safety Manager to support electrical construction projects throughout the Indiana market. This individual will play a key role in maintaining a strong safety culture across active job-sites, working directly with field teams and project leadership to identify hazards, promote safe working practices, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across electrical construction projects and field operations
- Conduct regular job-site safety inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
- Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors, implementing corrective actions before incidents occur
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and project-specific safety requirements
- Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel to proactively address safety concerns
- Assist with incident investigations, root-cause analysis, documentation, and corrective action plans
- Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, training documentation, and compliance records
- Serve as a visible safety presence in the field, building strong relationships with crews while reinforcing accountability
- Previous safety experience within electrical construction, general construction, or a related contracting environment
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
- Understanding of electrical construction hazards and safe work practices preferred
- Experience conducting job-site inspections, safety training, toolbox talks, and incident investigations
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- CHST, CSP, or other recognized safety certifications are advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to work directly with field personnel and leadership
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment
