Overview

Join an exciting podcast project focused on thought leaders in the creative economy from the Middle East. As the podcast host transitions to on-site interviews in Dubai, there is a need for a skilled editor to transform raw audio and video recordings into polished, engaging episodes. Each episode runs approximately 40-50 minutes, with a release schedule of 12 weekly episodes per season.

The ideal candidate will bring creativity, responsiveness, and flexibility to elevate the production quality and storytelling impact of each episode.

• Edit and synchronize multi-camera video and high-quality audio for each episode
• Enhance audio clarity, remove background noise, and balance sound levels
• Add branded intros, outros, and transitions to maintain a consistent style
• Incorporate graphics, lower thirds, and visual elements as needed
• Prepare final episodes for publication on podcast platforms and video channels
• Collaborate closely to ensure the creative vision and tone are maintained throughout the season

• Proven experience in podcast audio and video editing, preferably with interview-based content
• Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Audition or similar tools
• Strong understanding of audio mixing, mastering, and video post-production workflows
• Ability to work with footage recorded in varied on-site environments
• Creative approach to storytelling and visual presentation
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
• Flexible availability to meet weekly episode deadlines
• Familiarity with the creative economy or Middle Eastern culture is a plus
