Video Producer

Join a creative project dedicated to producing a series of visually captivating music videos for 80s cover songs, inspired by iconic artists such as Prince, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and Elton John. This role involves collaborating closely to conceptualize and execute music videos that authentically capture the vibrant, retro aesthetic of the 1980s. The videos will be distributed across multiple platforms, including short-form content channels.

While preference is given to candidates based in Vienna, remote collaboration is possible for the right creative partner. Access to professional filming equipment, including Blackmagic and Sony Alpha cameras, will be provided. This is a self-funded project, offering a unique opportunity to contribute creative vision and technical expertise to a passion-driven endeavor.

• Develop creative concepts and storyboards for each music video, ensuring alignment with the 80s theme and musical style.
• Direct and oversee all aspects of video production, from pre-production planning to post-production editing.
• Utilize provided equipment (Blackmagic, Sony Alpha cameras) and recommend additional resources as needed.
• Edit and deliver polished music videos suitable for both full-length and short-form distribution.
• Collaborate with the project owner to incorporate feedback and refine the final output.
• Ensure all content meets platform-specific requirements for quality and format.

• Proven experience in music video production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating 80s-inspired or retro visual styles.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong creative vision and ability to translate musical themes into compelling visual narratives.
• Familiarity with 80s pop culture, fashion, and visual motifs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage project timelines.
• Availability for on-site work in Vienna is preferred, but remote candidates with exceptional portfolios will be considered.
• Access to or familiarity with Blackmagic and Sony Alpha camera systems is a plus.
