LaGrange County REMC is focused on providing excellent service and is seeking to fill the position of Customer Service Representative.

LaGrange County REMC distributes electricity to more than 7,000 members across 600 miles of power lines and delivers high-speed internet through more than 500 miles of fiber to nearly 5,000 customers. For over 90 years, we’ve powered our local communities and taken pride in keeping them connected.

As the Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our members. You will be responsible for processing member account inquiries and interacting with members to address account questions. In this role you will also be required to perform collections procedures, create service orders, calculate, and post payments.

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.

• Associate degree in business, accounting, or related field.
• Knowledge of electricity and electrical components, billing, and collections.

• Salary range for this position is $20 to $24.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, with a progression opportunity to reach $30 per hour.
