About the RoleCounty Line Church of God is seeking a passionate, relational, and spiritually grounded Associate Student Ministries Pastor to help lead and disciple students from ages 9–25. This is more than an events role — it’s a calling to invest in the spiritual formation of students during some of the most formative years of their lives.

About the Role
The Associate Student Ministries Pastor will partner closely with the Student Pastor to cultivate a thriving, Christ-centered ministry for middle school, high school, and young adults. This role blends relational ministry, leadership development, teaching, event coordination, and pastoral care.
You will help create environments where students:
Encounter Jesus personally
Grow in biblical understanding
Build meaningful community
Discover and use their spiritual gifts
Step into leadership and mission
Build consistent, authentic relationships with students.
Teach in large-group settings and small groups.
Mentor student leaders and help develop leadership pathways.
Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance during key life moments.
Attend school events and be present in students’ everyday lives.
Collaborate on weekly programming, teaching series, and discipleship strategies.
Help plan and execute retreats, camps, mission trips, outreach events, VBX, and young adult gatherings.
Develop and oversee life-giving small group ministries.
Recruit, train, and coach small group leaders and ministry volunteers.
Provide ongoing encouragement and leadership development.
Foster a culture of ownership and team unity.
Communicate clearly and consistently with families.
Equip parents to disciple their students at home.
Assist with parent meetings and family-oriented ministry events.
Coordinate logistics for events and weekly programs.
Assist in managing budgets, registrations, and supplies.
Collaborate with church staff to maintain a unified approach to family ministry.
Participate in worship services, staff meetings, and church-wide initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
5 years of related ministry experience preferred
Equivalent education and experience considered
Strong communicator in both teaching and relational settings
Able to connect theology to real-life student challenges
Passion for discipleship and leadership development
Team-oriented, flexible, and collaborative
Comfortable navigating student crises with wisdom and care
Organized and capable of managing multiple ministry details
Tech-capable and administratively competent
Current Driver’s License
Ordained or willing to pursue ordination through the Church of God
Available Sunday–Thursday (evenings and weekends required)
