Job Overview

Compassionate volunteers are needed for teaching children and renovating community buildings in Kathmandu, Nepal. Each project lasts 2–12 weeks and begins with a 2‑week cultural introduction week.

Teaching Assistant (Teaching)

• Conduct lessons for children and young adults at local schools.
• Support school staff and facilitate learning activities.

Renovation & Construction (Renovation)

• Assist with renovation, beautification, and construction of schools, kindergartens, and community centers.
• Work with local partners on practical tasks.

• Age 17 or older.
• Good proficiency in English.
• Valid passport (German, Austrian, or Swiss) with at least 6 months validity beyond travel; other nationalities reviewed individually.
• At least two weeks free time available for the entire project duration.
• Current police clearance (full for teaching, simplified for renovation).
• Full travel medical and liability insurance covering the entire program.
• Valid tourist visa for Nepal (30/60/90 days), obtained prior to departure.

• Teaching: 5–12 weeks (including introduction week). Cost: €1 395.
• Renovation & Construction: 2–12 weeks (including introduction week). Cost: €820.
