Assistant Professor – Business Analytics

Job Description

• Teaching specific courses across programs that are assigned, guiding and mentoring students inside and outside the class, preparing students for interviews with external organizations, planning and delivering “learning and development” initiatives for students and counselling students.
• Instrumental in doing research, writing & publishing research paper and writing cases in your domain.
• Support the activities of the Admissions and Placements at the school.
• Managing academic administration as assigned (managing exam, scheduling classes).
• Communicating with past, present and future students of Woxsen and other relevant stakeholders.
• Any other relevant duties and responsibilities that the school may require you undertake from time to time.

• Ph.D. from a reputed institute
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
• Should possess communication skills (Both Written & Spoken English).
• Adequate research background.
• Should be willing to stay on the campus (off 90 Kms from Hyderabad).

• An earned doctoral degree in Business Analytics or closely related field, and a record as a publishing scholar commensurate with rank.
• Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Decision Sciences (DSCI) or Information Systems (BCIS) courses.

• Industry certification and/or professional experience, particularly in R, Tableau, Access, Domo, Teradata Database, MongoDB, Vertica, SAP, Oracle No
  
  SQL, Tableau, SPSS or Apache Spark/Hadoop.
• Experience using technology in teaching, and experience teaching hybrid web or online courses.
