About this opportunity

The School of Music at Ball State University invites applications for ongoing part-time semester faculty appointments to teach applied music coursework in an on-campus environment. Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Teach applied lessons, coach chamber music, and/or conduct ensembles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Music.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Documented history of professional activity in the area of assignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain quality students at the collegiate level.
  • Exceptional creative/scholarly background.
