Program Coordinator

Our client, a leading Foundation (not-for-profit) based in Akwa Ibom state with a focus on the education sector is looking to hire a Program Coordinator for a full-time role located in the State.

• Interfacing with the Foundation in planning, organizing, and implementing ALL programs to the satisfaction of the sponsor.
• Preparing and coordinating budgets, forecasts, and reports for these programs.
• Ensuring timely preparation and submission of relevant reports of these programs for use by the Foundation, Sponsor, and government agencies.
• Maintaining contact with all education stakeholders (teachers, school administration, students, vendors, etc.) to ensure a high level of service delivery.
• Establishing and developing relationships with relevant stakeholders, within and outside the education ecosystem, in furthering the objectives of these programs
• Promoting a positive image for the Sponsor and Foundation.

• Teaching or work experience in the education ecosystem.
• Good working knowledge of the Nigerian public education department.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to use computer and social media tools.
• Good team player
• Ability to work unsupervised and with own initiative to solve problems.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students and teachers.
• Resourcefulness
