• Teach undergraduate courses in Science Education in Biology, with a focus on elementary education science teaching.
• Engage with local schools and community agencies to support teacher preparation and experiential learning opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Chairperson.

• Master’s degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution by the date of appointment.

• Doctoral degree in Science Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience teaching at the university level.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working with diverse learners.
• Experience partnering with schools and/or community agencies.
