Yac Advisor​/Creative Assistant

We’re hiring! If you’re an energetic, organized person with creative talents looking for a community-focused job, you may be our next YAC Advisor/Creative Assistant! This is a part-time position located at our office in downtown Owosso.

The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Advisor would educate Youth Advisory Council members(middle school-high school) of the grant-making process and how youth philanthropy works within the community foundation. They would set goals for the Youth Advisory Council and assist the students in accomplishing those goals. The Creative Assistant part of the position would assist with the development of print materials including the annual report, brochures, invitations, electronic communications, newsletters and form letters.

They would regularly update the foundation’s website and other social media.
