Equipment Database Specialist - Maximo

Role Summary / Purpose The Contract Equipment Database Specialist is an individual contributor responsible for performing the detailed equipment database development work required to support new generation projects. This role performs hands-on development and validation of asset database records, Maximo equipment hierarchy and equipment data, job plans and preventive maintenance records, LOTO database information, Tags Pro data, and equipment tagging support.

The individual will reconcile source information from IFC drawings, Master Equipment Lists, vendor documentation, equipment manuals, and other project deliverables to establish accurate and complete equipment databases prior to turnover and operation. This position requires strong knowledge of Maximo, Tags Pro, drawing review, equipment data structures, preventive maintenance development, and plant equipment tagging conventions.

As part of the Plant Integration team, the Contract Equipment Database Specialist will primarily perform the execution work necessary to build equipment databases for new generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute equipment database development activities for new generation projects, including MEL and IFC drawing reconciliation, Maximo asset and equipment hierarchy development, equipment data validation, LOTO/Tags Pro database development, equipment tagging support, and job plan/preventive maintenance development. Review engineering drawings, vendor documentation, O&M manuals, and project deliverables to ensure equipment data accuracy and readiness for turnover. (65% of time)- Schedule and track status of work.

Coordinate with Plant Integration Team Leads, EPCs, engineering, operations, maintenance, and project stakeholders to obtain source documentation, resolve equipment data discrepancies, communicate status, and support successful project execution. (25% of time)- Champion equipment database processes, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support data quality audits, process enhancements, lessons learned, and development of best practices to improve project execution and long-term asset management.
