Safety Occurrence Investigator (80-100%) Your mission:

As a Safety Occurrence Investigator, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing aviation safety by collecting data, analysing incidents, proposing preventive measures, and fostering a culture of safety within Skyguide. If you are passionate about safety and have the skills to contribute to our mission, we invite you to join our dedicated team.

  • Processing and analysing information from the internal safety reporting system
  • Gathering additional information from recording systems and other information sources
  • Liaise closely with ATCO- and Technical Investigators and coordinate with other domains within the safety department
  • Collaborating with operational and technical departments, including external stakeholders and competent authorities
  • Promoting and improving Skyguide's safety management system in alignment with just culture and the department’s vision and mission
What we are looking for:
  • A strong aviation background and knowledge of Air Traffic Management
  • Clear commitment to safety and knowledge of radio telephony is an asset
  • Holistic thinking:
    You view situations as part of a larger system, understanding how changes affect the whole, and approach challenges from multiple angles while considering various options
  • Problem solving:
    You seek accurate information to analyze problems, break down complex issues into manageable parts, and approach solutions in a systematic and structured way
  • Teamwork:
    You engage in interactions with diverse team members and actively contribute information, ideas, and insights in meetings or other interactions
  • Very good command of oral and written English and German
