Activities & Responsibilities
- Define and implement BIM coordination scope, methods, and workflows in line with project requirements, BEP, and ISO 19650.
- Coordinate, verify, and validate interdisciplinary BIM models, ensuring quality, metadata consistency, interoperability, and compliance with specifications.
- Manage clash detection, issue tracking, coordination reporting, and communication of outcomes.
- Organize and lead internal and project-wide BIM coordination meetings.
- Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure timely model deliveries and data drops.
- Execute modelling and planning tasks autonomously within the assigned discipline.
- Coordinate and supervise project BIM modelers and draftsmen, ensuring quality standards, deadlines, and self-check procedures are met.
- Support quantity take-offs and construction phase activities.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of BIM workflows.
- Contribute to the development, standardization, and internal dissemination of BIM processes, templates, and training.
- Degree in civil engineering or technical education as a technician / CAD designer.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM projects.
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a senior BIM role.
- Good knowledge of BIM modelling software (e.g. Revit) and strong expertise in coordination tools.
- Experience coordinating interdisciplinary projects.
- Structured, autonomous, and solution-oriented working style.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in complex hydraulic, infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Advanced clash and issue management workflows.
- Experience with automation or BIM workflow optimization.
- Scan-to-BIM and point cloud coordination experience.
