As a Quality Specialist in Production, you are responsible for ensuring product and process quality, as well as continuously improving our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
How you’ll make an impact- Create and maintain quality and inspection plans
- Support new products and production lines, including quality and reliability assessments
- Participate in PFMEA, DFMEA, and process development activities
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Lead NCR management and analyze deviations using methods such as Pareto, 8D, Ishikawa, or 5‑Why
- Maintain quality‑relevant documentation and support internal/external audits (incl. customer and ISO)
- Support the digitalization and automation of the production lines
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, CI, and lead or support quality-related projects and outgoing inspections
- Technical education or university degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Production Technology, or a similar field
- Several years of experience in a production environment, ideally in quality assurance and preferably in a ceramic or silicon molding industry
- Strong knowledge of quality methods (8D, FMEA, RCA, Control Plans)
- Experience in auditing and in preparing quality reports
- Excellent analytical skills and a structured way of working
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset
- Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
