Senior Engineer

Quality Assurance

Conduct routine inspections and testing of plates for mechanical and electrochemical properties.

Ensure compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with the QA team to resolve defects and maintain product reliability.

Troubleshoot process issues and provide technical solutions.

Support R&D in developing new plate designs and formulations.

Train operators and technicians on process best practices.

Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety guidelines, especially in handling lead and acid.

Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.

Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize workflows.

Drive automation and modernization initiatives in plate production.

Strong knowledge of lead acid battery chemistry and plate manufacturing processes.

Experience with
pasting machines, curing chambers, and formation
.

Familiarity with process control systems and statistical quality control.

Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
.

3–5 years of experience in battery manufacturing or related chemical process industries
.

Knowledge of ISO standards, environmental regulations, and safety practices in lead handling.

Preferred Attributes

Certification in Lean/Six Sigma

Experience in automation and process optimization
.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
