Research Assistant in Flight Mechanics and Flight Control System Team 100 %
Join our team to turn flight test data into advanced aircraft and rotorcraft models. Work with real‑time simulators, support teaching activities, and contribute to next‑generation aerospace research.
School: School of Engineering
Starting date: 01.03.2026 or by mutual agreement. Fixed-term for one year, with the option for extension.
- Parameter estimation of fixed and rotary wing aircraft
- Use of ZHAW-ZAV Real-Time Simulators to support research and development activities
- Support of lecturers in teaching activities (Class Exercises and Bachelor Theses)
- You hold a Master in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
- You have a good background in flight mechanics including rotary wing aircraft.
- You are proficient in the use of Matlab / Simulink®.
- You can effectively communicate in English (German is a plus).
