Development Engineer Sensor Protection Advanced Sensors
Location:
Haag, St. Gallen, CH
Employment Type:

- Leading the development of advanced sensor protection concepts and technologies
- Investigation and testing of different materials, coatings and methods
- Evaluation and application of accelerated testing procedures and setups
- Development and characterization of scalable material concepts for new generation industrial sensor assemblies
- Collaboration with industrial and academic partners
- Joining a multi-location R&D organization (Haag, Zürich); some travel required (max. 20%)
- MSc or PhD degree in material science, physics, chemistry or related field
- 5+ years of industry experience on material-related topics
- Work experience in vacuum technology and/or semiconductor industry
- Negotiating skills in English and German (fluent in spoken and writing)
- In-depth understanding of semiconductor processes is beneficial
- Used to working independently, proactively and in an organized manner
- Strong ability to work in a team and care about interdisciplinary interface functions
