We are looking for a Hardware Safety Engineer for Powertrain component design.

The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Definition of HW needs to achieve ISO
  26262 compliance in collaboration with the system safety team
• Definition of HW safety requirements
• Definition of HW design for safety part
• Perform HW safety analyses (HW FMEA, Dependent Failure Analysis, FTA, FMEDA)
• Perform / support HW test activities
• Support reviews, confirmation reviews, functional safety audits and functional safety assessments on his/her own perimeter

• The candidate should have experience in HW safety design in automotive field
• ISO 26262
• Tools (e.g.: Ansys Medini, DOORS) and methodologies for safety analyses
• Reliability computation
• Knowledge of embedded systems
