AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we keep the cloud running. This role is part of a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. The person will collaborate with stakeholders across AWS to deliver high standards for safety, security, and capacity while maintaining low cost.

The AMER Schedule Controls Manager is responsible for providing centralized scheduling expertise across the AMER construction portfolio—ensuring schedule spec adherence, conducting weekly schedule quality reviews on active builds, and driving consistency in delivery methodology across all clusters. The role validates schedule assumptions against contractual milestones, identifies risks to committed dates, and partners with TiPMs, Construction, and Pre‑Con teams to keep data centers on time while maintaining quality and technical efficiency.

• Conduct weekly schedule quality reviews on active builds against the AMER scheduling specification.
• Validate GC schedules (pre‑ and post‑contracted) against committed milestones (H2C, NEA, PFHO).
• Develop and maintain schedules at levels L1–L5, including logic ties, resource loading, and delivery cadence assumptions.
• Perform schedule risk analysis and what‑if scenarios to support proactive intervention.
• Create schedule reports and dashboards for regional and executive audiences.
• Support field audits to validate schedule accuracy and process adherence.
• Travel domestically up to 50% to support active builds and milestone readiness assessments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure experience.
• Knowledge of critical data center equipment and engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations, including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.
• Experience in project management of data center construction, including reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems; proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
