Measurement Technology Specialist (Strain Gauge Instrumentation)

We are currently supporting a leading aerospace organisation in Switzerland seeking a Measurement Technology Specialist to join their engineering and testing team. This highly specialised position focuses on sensor instrumentation, measurement systems, calibration activities, and experimental testing within an advanced technical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install and wire strain gauges and other measurement sensors.
- Prepare components and manufacture tooling required for sensor applications.
- Adjust and calibrate strain gauge measurement bridges and related instrumentation.
- Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic measurement systems.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of testing equipment and fixtures.
- Provide and configure measurement and control systems for engineering and wind tunnel testing activities.
- Carry out commissioning, functional testing, and documentation of measurement chains and experimental test setups.
- Completed vocational training in a technical discipline such as Micromechanics, Precision Mechanics, Watchmaking, Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with strain gauges, sensor instrumentation, or measurement technology.
- Strong precision mechanical skills and a solid technical mindset.
- Basic electrical or electronic knowledge would be advantageous.
- Very good German language skills and good English communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately on delicate components, sometimes under a microscope.
- Patient, methodical, and quality-focused approach to work and documentation.
