Lab Technician, Maxi Lab Scale Up

Primary Responsibilities

• Conducting pilot plant operations, including but not limited to, preparing formulations, performing reactions, purifications, isolation, and drying of products
• Performing chemistry/engineering calculations, accurate record keeping, recording data and managing spreadsheets.
• Equipment maintenance and trouble‑shooting, including work order management, permit issuance, LOTO, line‑opening, etc.
• Identification and implementation of new capabilities as needed to support technical programs
• Completing lab analysis as needed for product quality and in support of experimental plans.
• Writing and following procedures as well as active engagement in safety culture, such as participating in PSM (Process Safety Management) and other EHSS activities.

• Prior experience working in Maxilab preferred.
• College algebra and college chemistry or equivalent credits from STEM related courses desired
• Chemical operations experience required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Flexibility in working extended shifts/overtime as needed (days/evenings)
• Ability to work independently and also as part of a team. Demonstrated mindset and ability in taking initiative and being self‑motivated.

Must pass SCBA fit test and be able to perform physical activities such as lifting 50 lbs.
