Compliance Engineer - F​/M​/X

Job description

We are looking for a Compliance Engineer - F/M/X to ensure that products meet international standards and regulatory requirements, supporting the entire product lifecycle from design to certification.

• Contribute to the development of power electronic converters and inverters, including topologies, hardware design, and system architecture
• Ensure compliance requirements are embedded early in the product design process
• Interpret and apply international standards for electrical equipment and inverters (e.g., IEC, EN, UL)
• Translate normative requirements into concrete, testable R&D requirements
• Plan and execute certification activities, including implementation, testing, and documentation
• Interface with test labs, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders
• Manage compliance-related risks, deviations, and corrective actions
• Prepare and maintain compliance documentation (technical files, declarations, test reports)
• Support risk assessments such as FMEA and hazard analysis
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on existing and new products

• You have an academic background in electrical engineering or a related field
• You have at least 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, systems, or power electronics engineering
• You are proficient with regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, UL, CE, RoHS, REACH)
• You have proven experience with certification processes and audits
• You are fluent in English;
  German is a plus.
• You demonstrate a structured, detail-oriented working style
• You demonstrate strong communication skills, especially in conveying compliance topics to R&D teams and management
• You demonstrate the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interface with external partners
