Project Manager - Low Power Wireless SoC Design
Location :
Rue des Sors 3, 2074 Marin, Switzerland (Neuchatel)
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of low-power wireless System-on-Chip (SoC) development programs
. The role ensures delivery from concept to production while coordinating cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
.
The position requires a strong focus on schedule, quality, cost, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
.
Remote or hybrid work model are not possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate SoC development programs from definition through production release
- Manage project planning
, including timelines, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation - Coordinate activities across engineering, product management, and operations teams
- Ensure alignment across technical domains, including hardware, RF, firmware, and system integration
- Lead development of wireless SOC products using low-power design techniques
- Manage product compliance with RF, cybersecurity, medical and automotive standards
- Provide regular status reporting and communication to internal stakeholders and management
- Manage with external partners, including suppliers, IP vendors, and foundries
- Knowledge of low-power wireless technologies (e.g., BLE, Thread)
- Familiarity with RF concepts and product certification processes
- Experience with automotive development
, functional safety standards and regulated (ie medical) environments - Familiarity with cyber security requirements of IoT and related markets
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile)
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and distributed teams
- Clear communication and stakeholder management
- Proactive approach to risk identification and problem-solving
- Ability to manage complex projects within defined timelines
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in project or program management within semiconductor or embedded systems environments
- Experience managing ASIC or SoC development programs
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional and international teams
- Good understanding of semiconductor development processes and low-power design concepts
- Fluent in English (required) any other language mainly French are an asset
